Top 10 Reason to Live in New Jersey Garden State

The proliferation of New Jersey reality television shows have given the Garden State a bit of a reputation but the Garden State isn’t all high hair and leopard print. It’s actually a great place to live and work. We count down ten great reasons to live in her area of New Jersey:

10. Great bagels and pizza! Plus the availability of Taylor Ham (greatly missed by those who move away!)

9. Shopping galore! There are at least seven major malls within an easy drive, plus lots of outlets. And Manhattan shopping is an easy trip too! If you can’t find what you need in North Jersey, it probably doesn’t exist!

8. Wonderful cultural diversity! Restaurants and activities of every kind!

7. Easy trip to either New York City or Philadelphia

6. Great schools!

5. Cities, lakes, mountains, the ocean or farms (whatever your pleasure!) are all within an easy trip from North Jersey!

4. Jobs! Although we are in a bit of a turndown right now, generally there are jobs to found in this area! Quite a few corporations make their homes nearby.

3. Beautiful neighborhoods! Tree-lined streets, local downtown shopping areas, well-kept homes give the Jersey area a special allure.

2. Homes tend to hold their value here. Yes, of course,we have definitely experienced the downturn but it is not as severe here as in other parts of the country because people always want to live here because of the reasons on this list.

1. GREAT PEOPLE! This area is made up of small towns where people know their neighbors, throw block parties, have Fourth of July parades and fireworks, work together to get things done in their towns, organize town sports teams for all ages, etc. etc.!

I invite you to come experience this wonderful place!
